Private label jojoba formulas
Jojoba oil is pressed from the seeds of the jojoba plant. Technically it is a liquid wax rather than a true oil, which gives it a light, silky feel and good resistance to going rancid. We carry it in 17 ready formulas, led by body and massage oils, plus face oils, balms, body butters, lip and cuticle care. Brands can sample any formula and launch it under their own label from 500 units per product.

Developing a jojoba product
Jojoba is a favourite with formulators because it is light, stable and works in almost any oil-based product, from face oils to massage blends.
Formats that suit it
- Body and massage oils are the largest group in our jojoba range. Browse our private label body and massage oils.
- Face oils and oil serums for a light, fast-absorbing feel. See face oils.
- Lip, cuticle and hand care, where its silky feel suits small, targeted products.
Texture and pairing choices
Jojoba blends well with heavier oils such as almond, argan and castor to lighten their feel, and with squalane and vitamin E. In balms and butters it softens the texture of shea and waxes. Jojoba is also sold on its own as a carrier oil, so a brand can offer both a pure oil and finished blends. If you plan a fragranced massage oil, decide early whether to use essential oils or a fragrance, because that changes allergen labelling.
Packaging
Glass or PET bottles with pumps or droppers suit oils. Amber or opaque packs help protect blends that contain essential oils or other light-sensitive ingredients. Lip and cuticle oils suit roll-ons and brush-cap pens.
Claims to check before launch
"Softening", "nourishing" and "silky feel" are typical cosmetic claims. "Pure" or "cold-pressed" needs supplier documentation. Avoid health or therapeutic claims for massage oils. For a bespoke blend, see custom formulation.
Questions about jojoba products
Which jojoba products can I private label?
We list 17 ready formulas with jojoba, mainly body and massage oils, plus face oils, balms, body butters, lip care, a cuticle oil and a hair care product. Each can be sampled first, then produced under your own brand from 500 units per product.
Is jojoba really an oil?
Not strictly. Jojoba is a liquid wax made mostly of wax esters, which is why it feels lighter and resists going rancid better than many plant oils. In everyday marketing it is still called jojoba oil, and its INCI name is Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil.
Can I sell jojoba as a single-ingredient carrier oil?
Yes. Jojoba is widely sold on its own as a carrier oil, and our oils range includes carrier oils alongside finished blends. Label it with its INCI name, check the documentation your markets require and avoid therapeutic claims about its use.
