Private label argan oil formulas
Argan oil is pressed from the kernels of the argan tree, Argania spinosa, which grows in Morocco. It is a light oil rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, used in cosmetics to leave hair looking glossy and skin feeling soft. Our catalogue carries it in hair serums, hair oils, a hair mask, shampoo and conditioners, plus a body oil and an exfoliating massage cream. Brands can sample and brand them from 500 units.

Developing an argan oil product
Argan is strongest as a hair story. A full range can run from shampoo and conditioner to a leave-in serum, a pre-wash oil and a weekly mask, all under one name. On skin, argan works as a face or body oil on its own, or as a softening oil in creams and scrubs.
Texture and pairing choices
In hair serums, argan is often combined with silicones or lightweight plant oils for slip and shine without weighing hair down. In rinse-off products it sits alongside conditioning agents. A pure or high-argan oil suits a premium face or hair oil; a blend with other oils gives more pricing flexibility.
Packaging
Argan oil can oxidise over time, so tinted glass dropper bottles or well-sealed pump bottles are common. Check that droppers and pumps suit the viscosity of the oil or serum you choose.
Claims to check
- "Moroccan argan oil" should only appear on pack if the oil's origin is documented through the supply chain.
- "Glossy-looking", "smoother-feeling" and "helps tame the look of frizz" are cosmetic descriptions; breakage claims need test data.
- Avoid hair-growth or hair-fall wording entirely.
Shampoo and conditioner are used every wash, while serums and oils carry the argan story most visibly. Many brands launch both together so the range feels complete from the first order.

Questions about argan oil products
Can argan oil be used in both hair and skin products?
Yes. Argan oil is light and spreads easily, so it suits hair serums, hair oils, masks, shampoos and conditioners as well as face oils, body oils, creams and scrubs. Many brands build a hair range first, then add a body or face oil under the same argan name.
Can I call my product Moroccan argan oil?
Argan trees grow in Morocco, but an origin claim on pack should be backed by documentation from the supply chain for the oil in your formula. Ask for this when you choose a formula, and confirm origin and labelling wording with your importer or regulatory adviser for each market.
What is the minimum order for a private label argan oil product?
Ready formulas in our catalogue start from 500 units per product, including shampoo, conditioner, hair serums and hair oils. Request samples first to check texture, scent and feel, then choose your pack and add your own branding. Changes to the formula, scent or packaging are quoted separately, based on your brief.
